There is one little post-wedding thing that wedding vendors absolutely LOVE, and it doesn't cost you anything.

Start With a Review

If you had an amazing experience with a vendor, leave them a review.

Seriously.

This is one of the most valuable things you can do for a small wedding business.

Reviews help future couples figure out who they can trust, and they help incredible vendors continue doing what they do.

Your review doesn't need to be an essay.

Talk about your experience.

Were they responsive?

Did they make you feel comfortable?

Did they solve a problem?

Did they go above and beyond?

Would you hire them again?

That's the stuff future couples actually want to know.

Who Should You Review?

Think through your wedding day from beginning to end.

Your venue.

Planner or coordinator.

Photographer.

Videographer.

Florist.

Hair stylist.

Makeup artist.

DJ or band.

Caterer.

Cake designer.

Officiant.

Rental company.

Dress boutique.

Suit or tux shop.

Transportation.

Stationery designer.

And anyone else who helped make your wedding happen.

You absolutely don't need to review everyone.

But if someone made your day better, tell people.

Share Your Professional Photos

Once your wedding gallery arrives, your vendors are probably VERY excited to see it.

Your florist wants the bouquet photos.

Your cake designer wants the cake.

Your venue wants the room.

Your makeup artist wants your portraits.

Your planner wants the tablescape.

And your photographers…

Well.

When you're posting online, tagging your vendors helps people discover their work and makes it easier for everyone involved in your wedding to celebrate what you created together.

Don't Know Their Instagram Handles?

Your photographer or planner may already have a vendor list from your wedding.

Check your emails, wedding website or planning documents so you can tag the correct businesses.

Because there are approximately 700 companies called some variation of "Wildflower Events."

What About Sending Photos Directly to Vendors?

If a vendor wants to use your professional wedding photographs for their website, advertising or portfolio, it's best for them to connect with the photographer about usage.

That way everyone knows where the images are going, the correct files are being used and photography credit stays attached.

Easy.
